PAWS are a team of like minded volunteers who foster cats, kittens, dogs and puppies in their own homes.  Some members have been helping stray animals for many years and joined together to enable them to achieve more in a short space of time.  The sheer amount of street cats on La Marina is their top priority, they are endeavouring to spay female cats to keep the numbers of kittens down, as many cats are having up to 4 litters of kittens per year.  A PAWS member and her Spanish friend have been to the town hall along with San Anton Vets and La Marina residents in the hope to spay as many cats as possible.

PAWS are already spaying as many cats as we can using funds raised, donations from the public and the contributions from people who are caring for the feral cats, we currently have a very long list of cats waiting to be spayed and is likely to take many months.

Would you please get in contact with us at PAWS is you are caring for street cats and would like our help with either spaying or sick cats.  We regret that at present we do not have enough funds to help people outside the La Marina Area with this problem, but please call and we can offer you help and advice on how to help the cats in your area. 

We do however help to home dogs, cat, puppies and kittens from all areas so please call if you have an animal needing a new home.  We cannot promise to take all your animals in as we are limited to how many animals we can take into our homes but we will put them on our books and advertise them for you on our website.

If you are living in the Costa Blanca (La Marina and Surrounding Areas) we would love to have your help in fostering our dogs and cats, kittens & puppies.

You can make a difference to the lives of the animals in many ways, from donating bric a brac to helping with fundraising, or local boot sales. 
Fostering: we desperately need more fosterers, you can foster either dogs, cats, puppies or kittens or All Four!!!  PAWS will pay for all food etc and vet bills (if needed) we just ask for your time and love for the animals until we find them new homes or they are re-united with their owners.  You can foster long term (until the animal is homed) or respite (e.g. only for a couple of days or a weekend).
